Tuff is a rock consisting of consolidated volcanic ash ejected from vents during a volcanic eruption.
Tuff is an excellent building material, which combines lightness, strength, low thermal conductivity. In Armenia, there are many tuff deposits from where highly decorative stones are mined with a palette of colors from light to black. The main sphere of tuff application in construction and design is the internal and external lining of buildings.
